Phuket Thai Village and Orchid Garden, located a bit north of Phuket Town, nearby Tesco Lotus, and not far from the Samkong Shrine, there is a restaurant here, a playground for the children, a couple of handicraft shops and workshops, and the main event a Thai cultural show that you may see twice a day at 11am and 5.30pm.
The show will give you a glimpse into Thai dancing and martial arts.
When you come here you will also see the Orchid Garden that present you with an opportunity to view some rare and exotic orchids.
This place is well worth an visit, even if it might not be as hyped up as Phuket Fantasea, if you have children I'm sure they will enjoy the visit. They also have a special Loy Krathong Theme Party, and do Thai Wedding Ceremony.
The restaurant have a lakeside view and can seat up to 800 people in 6 pavilions, and a terrace. The menu is mainly Thai food, but they also have some selected Chinese dishes. Price range between 100 to 700 bath, for the dishes.
Phuket Thai Village and Orchid Garden is open daily (9am to 9pm).
The location is easy enough to find as there is plenty of signs, and if you come on the road from Patong Beach, you just keep driving strait ahead in the Tesco Lotus Intersection, and keep going strait on until you reach it. The price for a visit is around 400 Bath.
