Just On the way from Nai harn to Laem Promthep, you will find this small beach between two mountains, which gives it a very lovely location. Even if it's a bit rocky, it's a good place for snorkeling and diving.

The name Phuket (of which the ph sound is an aspirated p) is apparently derived from the word bukit in Malay which means "hill", as this is what the island appears like from a distance.
